Stayed here multiple times and it's faultless. Has everything I need for a holiday and conveniently close to train/bus station. Already booked for next year, can't wait.
Oh, just had a minor issue with someone else taking my parking space and some lovely loud construction work happening. Such a treat.

Free WiFi throughout the property: With WiFi that's faster than a cheetah running a marathon, I never had to worry about staying connected while unwinding at this 4-star holiday home. It was like having a personal hotspot following me around like a loyal sidekick.
Limited bathroom amenities.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere at the hotel. The decor throughout was beautiful and gave it a lovely homely feel. It was a joy to relax in the hotel's general areas, especially the comfortable lounge with its soft armchairs and warm fireplace. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent. The hallways and stairs were well-lit and easy to navigate, and there was even an elevator available for those who needed it. It was reassuring to know that the hotel took the needs of older guests into consideration.
The only small improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people would be to have a dedicated staff member available to assist with any specific needs or inquiries. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit overwhelmed and it would have been helpful to have someone with more experience and expertise available to offer guidance.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The soft floral wallpapers and elegant furniture reminded me of my own home. It made me feel so comfortable and at ease during my stay. The common areas were also well-maintained and provided plenty of seating for senior guests like myself to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently accessible for seniors, with well-lit hallways and handrails in the staircases, ensuring our safety and comfort.
I would have appreciated a wider variety of activities specifically tailored for senior guests. While the hotel itself was wonderful, I think it would be even better if they organized some gentle exercise classes or social gatherings to encourage interaction among us seniors.

The hotel's decoration was charming and cozy, with elegant furnishings and lovely artwork that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. I especially appreciated the comfortable seating areas in the general areas of the hotel, which were perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea. As a senior, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent, with well-lit hallways, handrails in the staircases, and spacious elevators that made it easy for me to navigate around the property.
I would have liked to see more assistance available for senior guests, such as staff members offering to carry luggage or providing extra support when needed. A little more attention to the needs of us older folks would have made for an even better vacation experience.

The room at Cumbria Court in Windermere was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The bathroom with the bath or shower gave me options for a relaxing soak or a quick refresh. As a solo traveler, it was the perfect size for me.
Personally, I found the bathroom with only a shower a bit inconvenient, but others may still enjoy it.

I had a wonderful stay at Cumbria Court in Windermere. The location was perfect, with easy access to the main road for exploring the lakes and walks. The flat was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The parking issue on the first night was a bit of a hassle, but it was quickly resolved. The noise from the building work was a minor inconvenience, but understandable as it's privately owned accommodation. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and comfortable accommodations.
